Gacon's high-quality plastic floors are manufactured from multiple components epoxy or polyurethane. This strong synthetic resin ensures that our floors can withstand heavy loads, such as large machinery or thermal equipment, as well as chemicals, heat and acids. In addition, seamless plastic flooring is easy to clean.

For decorative use, plastic flooring is also an excellent choice. The modern, sleek appearance and extensive color palette make our plastic floors suitable for any (business) interior. Our decorative plastic floors are also resistant to a wide range of chemicals. They can be applied seamlessly to virtually any surface and offer various options for extra comfort and safety.

Choosing the right plastic flooring

Not every plastic floor is the same. Therefore, it is important that you choose the right type of flooring. Several factors determine which floor is most suitable in your situation, including:

  • What work is performed on the floor?
  • Will there be with chemical fabric worked?
  • Is there intensive or sporadic made use of the floor?
  • Will the floor only taxed by people, or also by machines, cars or tables and chairs?

    A floor finish based on polyurethane cement - such as UCRETE, Crete PU or PurCem - offers exceptional resistance to aggressive chemicals, extreme mechanical resistance and reliable temperature change resistance. Polyurethane cement floors, for example, are highly resistant to thermal shock from steam cleaning.

    Epoxy Cast Flooring

    An epoxy screed is characterized by its good chemical and mechanical resistance (impact, shock and abrasion resistant). This self-leveling floor finish is seamless, liquid-proof and particularly economical due to its high fillability (typical layer thickness about 2 to 4 mm). The epoxy screed is dust-free, easy to keep clean and can be finished either smooth or with anti-slip.

The supply and installation of approx. 3,000 m2 of floor finish based on Sikafloor-2540 W in RAL 6018 (aisles) and RAL 7004 (islands for the bicycle racks) and approx. 400 m2 of wall finish based on Sikagard-675 W in RAL 7004. The floor finish was pre-tested for skid resistance and cleanability by DEKRA Rail in accordance with the requirements
